After training and studying, Helmut Gottschalk was a member of the Board of Management of a large regional cooperative bank in Baden-Württemberg for 35 years. From this position, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of DZ-BANK, the leading cooperative bank, for 15 years and was Chairman of the Board for ten years until 2018; following his active board activities, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IBB, Internationales Bankhaus Bodensee AG until 2021 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG from 2021-2023.
Helmut Gottschalk now brings his extensive experience in the financial services sector to the Advisory Board of HLK, in addition to several mandates in foundations.
