Invest in Visions was founded by Edda Schröder in 2006 with the vision of providing institutional and retail investors with access to impact investments, i.e. investments that offer investors both financial and social returns.
Invest in Visions has made a name for itself as a pioneer in microfinance investments and achieved an important milestone in 2011 with the launch of the IIV Mikrofinanzfonds, the first fund of this asset class in Germany for retail and institutional investors. The international and experienced portfolio management team grants loans to selected microfinance institutions (MFIs) in developing countries. The focus is on MFIs that are selected based on stringent financial and social criteria. They grant small-scale loans to support and establish entrepreneurship. This means that the IIV Mikrofinanzfonds fund allows investors not only to benefit from a stable investment, but also to make a difference in the world.
